Commémoration des déportations contre pluie et marées à Paris

altVingt-trois  années de souffrance et de privation de leur patrie. Tout cela, du seul fait d’un système idéologique raciste. Voici 23 ans que des femmes, des hommes, des enfants et des hommes ont été chassés de chez-eux, de leur chère patrie. Leur seul crime étant la couleur de leur peau, leur culture et leur langue.  

Le 24 avril 1989 dans les villes de Nouakchott, Nouadhibou, Aleg, Boutilimit, Zouerat, Akjoujt, Atar, Kiffa, Aïoun, Guérou, Tikjikja, Moudjeria, Kaédi, Sélibaby, Maghama, Gouraye, Ould Yengé, Kankossa, Téthiane, Patoukone, entre autres des hordes bien quadrillées par une police, une gendarmerie et une armée triées sur une base à la fois raciale et ethnique s’adonnaient à une chasse à l’homme bien particulière aidé par des collaborateurs de tout bord.  

En deux mois, près ou plus de 200 000 Noirs mauritaniens vont être déportés vers le Sénégal et le Mali.

Cette oeuvre a été orchestrée par l'Etat, ses agents et les Nationalistes arabes et berbères.

Des milliers de Négro-mauritaniens vont être torturés, humiliés, expropriés et jetés hors de leur pays.

23 ans après, le sentiment d’injustice est toujours là, plus nauséabond, plus insidieux, plus amer. C’est cela la vie de ces centaines de milliers de Négro-mauritaniens.

En novembre 2007, des suites des journées nationales de concertation, l’Etat mauritanien avait reconnu ce grand drame et s’était empressé à rapatrier dans une impréparation totale ceux désireux de regagner leur terre dans un délai de 6 à 12 mois sans rien mettre en oeuvre pour leur réinsertion.

Aujourd’hui, des 200 000 déportés, ceux qui ont survécu aux tortures et séquelles de la déportation ont repris le chemin du pays d’exil après des années de croupissement dans l’indignité la plus absolue dans des camps d'infortune. Ceux du Sénégal sont presque tous rentrés au pays après plus de deux décennies d'exil mais on parle rarement de ceux du Mali.

- Exigeons que le retour effectué soit officialisé par des actes et le rétablissement plein et entier, de tous ceux qui sont revenus, dans leur droit et une indemnisation de tous les préjudices subis.

- Demandons à la communauté internationale d’user de tous les moyens en sa possession pour amener la Mauritanie, dès lors qu’elle a reconnue sa pleine responsabilité dans les déportations d’avril 1989, à assumer concrètement les engagements pris devant les communautés nationales et internationales

- Appelons tous nos compatriotes à un réel sursaut patriotique contre cette injustice qui n’a que trop duré.

Et disons: - Si le silence est complice, l'inaction est coupable.
